Description
Sugar Mill generates approx 500 m3 / day of excess condensate in 3500 TPD Plant.
Major hurdle in reusing this excess condensate is the high temperature (85°C to 90°C). By using Aqua-Cool two stage cooling system it is cooled down to 32°C (+/-2°C).
Stage I
Hot condensate temperature at inlet to 1st cooling tower 85°C to 90°C.
Temperature of condensate out from 1st stage 45°C to 50°C.
Stage II
Temperature of water outlet from 2nd Cooling Tower 32°C (+/-2°C).
This cooled water is then fed to service water tank for reuse.
